QLD Oztag All Schools biggest competition ever showcased skill from all around the state over 3 successful days. The tournament saw over 100+ referees, 70+ officials, 300+ teams battle it out over more than 1000 games played across 29 fields for state glory on the Sunshine Coast.
A massive congratulations goes out to all players that participated over the weekend for playing at such a high standard of Oztag. Hats also go off to all the referees and officials that helped make the weekend run so smoothly.
The 2024 All Schools saw little legends travel from as far north as Ignatius Park in Townsville to south Gold Coast and everywhere in between. There was some fantastic skill on show over the weekend which makes us excited as we lead into our junior competitions kicking off around the state in September.
This year saw 14 different schools win grand finals out of the 23 divisions we had over the weekend with an additional 13 schools making it to the grand final but tripping at the final hurdle. 27 different Schools represented in Grand Finals just goes to show how much talent there is across all schools around the state!
Much like the Grand Final wins we also a number of schools represented in the MVP races. Our MVP’s came from 20 different schools out of the 30 MVP’s. For the list of the rest of the MVP’s and Finals results please be sure to check out the link below.

All Schools All Star Merit Team
Over the course of the weekend we had coaches and referees/officials rank players from every game to help determine our MVP’s as well as the best players from each division. This gives us our All Schools All Star Merit Teams. Whilst these teams don’t go on to play at any other competitions this year, we do have merchandise available to commemorate the players achievements should they wish to purchase.
