The 2025 QLD Oztag All Schools was our biggest tournament yet, with over 375 teams from more than 110 schools across Queensland going head-to-head across three action-packed days. Over 1,100 games were played on 36 fields spread across three different venues. The tournament was powered by more than 115 referees and 75 officials who helped bring the event to life.
A huge shoutout to all the players who took part over the weekend for showcasing such a high level of Oztag talent and sportsmanship. A big thank you also goes to the referees and officials whose hard work and dedication ensured the event ran seamlessly from start to finish.
The 2025 All Schools saw schools from as far north as Ignatius Park in Townsville to south Gold Coast and everywhere in between. With all the skills we saw on display over the weekend, we couldn’t be more excited for our junior competitions to be kicking off around the state in the upcoming weeks!!
This year saw 15 different schools win grand finals out of the total 23 divisions. An additional 9 different schools were represented in the grand final and finishing runners up. 24 different schools making grand finals just goes to show the broad range of talent we have across the state. A big shoutout to Miami SHS taking out a hotly contested year 12 Mixed which had 35 total teams across 4 different pools.
Sixteen schools were represented in this year’s MVP race. Scroll down to see the full list of MVPs and all the finals results!

All Schools All Star Merit Team
Over the course of the weekend we had coaches and referees/officials rank players from every game to help determine our MVP’s as well as the best players from each division. This gives us our All Schools All Star Merit Teams. Whilst these teams don’t go on to play at any other competitions this year, we do have merchandise available to commemorate the players achievements should they wish to purchase. Only selected players are eligible to purchase gear.
