The 2026 QLD Oztag All Schools was our biggest tournament yet, bringing together more than 5,800 students from over 415 teams representing 110+ schools across Queensland. Across three action-packed days, teams went head-to-head in more than 1,350 games played on 46 fields across three venues. Behind the scenes, over 160 referees and 100 officials played a vital role in delivering another unforgettable tournament.
A huge shoutout to all the players who took part over the weekend, showcasing an incredible level of Oztag talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Another special mention goes to the teachers, coaches, and managers who worked behind the scenes to bring teams together and support their players throughout the tournament, helping create such a high-quality competition.
The 2026 All Schools saw schools from as far north as Townsville to south Gold Coast and everywhere in between. With all the skills we saw on display over the weekend, we couldn’t be more excited for our junior competitions to be kicking off around the state in the upcoming weeks!!
This year saw 14 different schools win grand finals out of the total 23 divisions. An additional 13 different schools were represented in the grand final and finishing runners up. 27 different schools making grand finals just goes to show the broad range of talent we have across the state.
Sixteen schools were represented in this year’s MVP race. Hit the link below to see the full list of MVPs and all the finals results!

All Schools All Star Merit Team
Over the course of the weekend we had coaches and referees/officials rank players from every game to help determine our MVP’s as well as the best players from each division. This gives us our All Schools All Star Merit Teams. Whilst these teams don’t go on to play at any other competitions this year, we do have merchandise available to commemorate the players achievements should they wish to purchase. Only selected players are eligible to purchase gear.
